Architectural Draughting & Design

Sam Hudson

Senior Architectural Designer

Sam Hudson graduated university with an arts degree majoring in Sociology in the late nineties. In the following years he worked as a dishwasher, barista, carnival freak and ESOL teacher. After two years in South Korea teaching English he felt he needed a change and returned home to Christchurch to train as an architectural designer. He went on to work for one of New Zealand's leading healthcare providers designing retirement villages. After six years working for the man he left to work for AP Design in 2011, eager to flex his atrophied design muscles in the post earthquake rebuild.

Beyond Work

When not in the office Sam can be found constructing Starwars models from cardboard, railing against the preponderance of Vampire novels on science fiction bookshelves and maintaining an ever increasing collection of terrariums and bonsai.
